| 707335 | 2008-09-24 09:40:00 | www.stuff.co.nz More than 10 percent of New Zealanders are concerned about the atom-smashing Hadron Collider in Switzerland creating a disastrous mini black-hole, according to a poll. And I watched the Millionaire game show last night for a few minutes, stupid woman at the end struggling with easy questions, even her phone-a-friend was thick. I do wonder what sort of smell uranium has. It possibly smells like garlic. |

| 707337 | 2008-09-24 09:57:00 | A woman I work with got on this show and she asked me to be her "phone a friend" because of my googling skills. I turned her down after explaining that in the time allowed you would be very hard pushed to do a search and find a good hit with the answer. I also did not want to be in the hot seat when pushed came to shove as I still had to work with her. :xmouth: Has her episode been on yet Jen? Do you know how she went? |

| 707340 | 2008-09-24 19:20:00 | From when I used to watch the English version the phone a friends are not at home but all tucked away somewhere with adjudicators to stop things like googling from happening. Incidently the show was actually created as a show piece for the English presenter Chris Tarrant, if he had not agreed to do the shows over there the creators were going to pull it. |
