| 706773 | 2008-09-23 10:25:00 | If I can make an internet bank transfer before 10 PM (Fri, Sat, Sun excluded) Westpak will transfer it at midnight. But it is gone from my account in a flash, weekend or no. With some Banks, even Fri. night transfers I make appear in their account by Sat morning, but not all banks manage this. I have noticed BNZ with other banks the transfer takes 48hr even doing it in the afternoon as I have experienced with trademe purchases. Even receiving money into BNZ from a diff bank. Paying off my c/c off, if I pay on the date even if its 10pm .. it goes via that day so I am not charged any interest but this is all internal. |

| 706775 | 2008-09-23 16:17:00 | I'm with westpac - the only tme I have that happen is if you transfer on a Friday some times it wont show till Tuesday, other than that no worries.Ditto. Except I find that they consistently only give access to the cash on the Tuesday. Apart from that grumble I stick with Westpac because of their excellent online service. |
