707602 2008-09-25 02:03:00 Once upon a time, this would stand out as a fake simply because of its bad spelling & typos.

(Presumably any reputable organisation would have a proof-reader in it..?)

Nowadays, not only do large firms hire the "grammatically-challenged" to send unedited copy, but they can safely assume most of the recipients won't even notice the errors.

Sad...

Edit: I was going to point out the 4 obvious ones, but then realised you guys would all notice them for yourselves...

707603 2008-09-25 02:30:00 I see 6, Laura:

"going to get" instead of "going to be"
"Consourcium"
"wich"
"originating from..." with no source
"6 month" instead of "6 months"
"of your internet" rather than "or your internet"

There may be more....

But you're 100% correct: no point in employing a proof-reader if your audience is similarly grammatically-challenged. :groan: :groan:

707604 2008-09-25 03:09:00 Well done, johcar.

You got the 4 "obvious" spelling/typo errors, plus the grammatical ones I was too lazy to go into.

707605 2008-09-25 21:41:00 "going to get" instead of "going to be"
Hmm... I wasn't aware that this is an error.
