| 826760 | 2009-11-03 02:38:00 | Just wanting to confirm settings with someone who is using a Vodem and sending email... I would just use trial and error but Vodafone's reception around here is such crap the vodem won't even connect. :angry According to Vodafone's forum, the SMTP settings when using a Vodem should be smtp2.vodafone.net.nz although I couldn't actually find these settings anywhere on their ****ing useless piece of **** website! Each time I deal with Vodafone they seem to get worse and worse, I detest their website, surely I am not the only one? This seems odd, as the rest of their settings/address are all @vodafone.co.nz not .net.nz. Is there anyone using one who can confirm for me what the right (or at least some working) settings should be? Thanks :) |
