| 709364 | 2008-10-02 20:51:00 | I have PowerDVD on my desktop - and it's marvelous. I particularly like the way I can put a DVD disk in months after I had started watching it and it will ask me if I want to continue where I left off or start from the beginning. Even my Sony DVD burner for the TV cannot do that. I would like to have the same program on my laptop but blowed if I know where it came from. I am sure I never bought it and there is no record of my down loading it so I presume it must have come with some equipment I bought. Searches have proved useless. I do not want the latest version - far too expensive and has a tremendous amount of ability and power I do not need or want. I tried downloading from one site and got a program that was full of viruses and then would not run. Any suggestions about either where I got this simplified version or alternatives would be welcome.
