| 708507 | 2008-09-29 02:15:00 | Citigroup and Wells Fargo Said to Be Bidding for Wachovia (www.nytimes.com) We lost WAMU (Washington Mutual...MY bank!) last week..and now the rumblings are that another bank giant is going under..WACHOVIA. It's Sunday evening here and I am waiting to hear about the rollout in about eight hours. |

The govt pulled them up for many millions of dollars of unpaid tax... Thus the job cuts. Of course everywhere is feeling it at the moment, but I think we're mostly OK here in NZ. |
