708350 2008-09-28 10:50:00 I have been outside and checked. On the first day of daylight saving, it is just as dark as last night.
If that is the best they can do, it is time that all politicians resigned and let us have a fresh start.

The clocks here agree it is 12:29 in the morning regardless of the forum clock.

708353 2008-09-28 17:14:00 I had a look in my bank account this morning, to see how much daylight I have saved... so far nothing :(
Maybe the tax dept is grabbing it

708354 2008-09-28 19:01:00 The paint on our windowsills has started to fade at a faster rate since 2am Sunday. Darn all this extra daylight!

Ken :)

We've already re-painted out windowsills actually. They were never quite the same after last summer. ;)

708358 2008-09-28 19:56:00 It has been good for the worms I guess, the birds around here don't even start twittering let alone worm gorging until quarter past 5 now, giving the late night worms a better chance to get home safely. R2x1 (4628)
708359 2008-09-28 20:08:00 I'd like to know what we're going to do with all this daylight we've saved up from years gone past - seems wasteful just to use it....

Maybe we could send it to Scott Base to use when they're in winter mode and it's always dark (or maybe they could just leave the lights on)....

Maybe send it to the Dark Side Of The Moon???
