707977 2008-09-26 05:36:00 I'm with pine-o-clean this election. :D

I can't vote anyway. (Not sure if that's good or bad.)

707978 2008-09-26 05:45:00 People who live under dictatorships would die for the right to vote. Would you die to preserve a right not to vote?

If you don't exercise your right to vote, you automatically give up any right to complain about the outcome. You will, however, be a fully certified member of the cop-out generation and be entitled to wander about aimlessly for the rest of your life saying "don't blame me, I didn't vote for anybody".

Cheers

Couldn't agree more - it should be illegal to not do one's duty.

707981 2008-09-26 06:39:00 A non-vote is a valid stance, And that's just the fact of the matter.

Claiming this stance somehow reduces your rights is a grand and fantastical opinion, but just an opinion, No one does in fact lose any rights for not acting in a way others would try and make you.

Actually they are often killed if they do and therefore give up .
Like the recent case in Africa .

And no I don't see that you do give up the right to moan, thats silly .
