827683 2009-11-06 09:08:00 I need to upgrade my mobile phone and prior to doing so thought that I should investigate any possibility to use a mobile phone to interconnect with my PC.

We currently have Telstra Clear broadband to my home computer. This is fine.

We have a holiday home where we have a Telstra Clear telephone with dial up. The only reason to retain the telephone at this holiday home is to enable internet access. Our usage at our holidy home does not warrant a broadband connection.

Is there any means of using a mobile to connect a PC to broadband? Or are there items (USB?) that could be attached to the PC for this purpose?

Appreciate any comments.
Thanks

827684 2009-11-06 13:35:00 Telecom offers the T-Stick, and vodafone had the vodem.

Check on their websites, last time I checked Vodafone had prepaid mobile broadband(plug in phone via USB)
