| 709528 | 2008-10-05 12:14:00 | Hmm. Actually I have never had a problem with Securom. Try Starforce if you want nasty. Securom is uninstallable. haha yeah i've encountered star force "drivers" in the past and while i do hear this securom thing can be removed, it's far from a straightforward process, and backing up data is always strongly recommended thus the lawsuit |

| 709531 | 2008-10-06 21:56:00 | I tried it out for a while, but got bored. It was a disappointing game anyway which did not live up to the hype. I imagine it would be very fun if you are 8 years old, though. Spot on. Haven't played it past the first few hours. My kids are still obsessed by it. Ironic that EA chose to go all out with the SecureRom mess over a game that ultimately won't be played that much by the hardcore piraters. |

| 709532 | 2008-10-06 22:00:00 | The games in the old days were a bit better. They were small companies but they made great games that is until EA took every small company Worse thing that has happened to many good game developers - get bought out by the big publisher (be it EA, Activision, THQ or whoever). Not only bad for the developers, which tend to get a year or two of stability but at the cost of creative control and ultimately as a result, game quality. But also bad for the publishers, who suffer down the path when it all goes sour. And of course, bad for gamers. I wish the big publishers would just get over the whole business model of buying the developer. |
