He's just changed to Orcon - using their own equipment in the exchange and speed test today was 14000.

It looks like you may need to get a new modem, as it does not seem (by googleing) it supports ADSL2.

Same here no difference yet on Vodafone, router is a D-link 504T which supports ADSL2

When I am at home I can switch betwee ADSL2+ and regular with no real difference. Too far from the exchange I suppose, but 3Mbs is ok with me (Ususally).
