| 708361 | 2008-09-29 08:02:00 | Once again this tampering with nature has wrecked the climate. As I was explaining to #3 wife, if you suddenly stretch the day an hour, it is going to get weakened. Sure enough it has torn again and the rain is getting in, why don't they do it more gently if they must mess with things - 10 minutes one week, leave it two weeks, and add another 10 minutes then round it off neatly on the 6th week? It would be quieter too, without all that squawking of cuckoos being woken up at 2 am. Of course, if we used the forum clock, we could just pick any old time we fancy and use it until it's time for a change. |
