Local Press F1ers might be interested in a competition we are running on sister website JobUniverse, where there are a load of ICT and business training courses to be won. This could be a good chance for people who want to turn their computing hobby into a career, or for people who are already working in IT but are ready to move up a notch.

Entering is easy - you just have to sign up and register for at least one Job alert on Job Universe - and it's free.
A couple of the more important conditions are that you have to be over 18 and resident in New Zealand.
You'll find the full details at the link below.

Cheers and good luck, Michael

What type of training do they offer?

Since FBM owns and runs this site, are you seriously telling them they can't promote their own products/competitions on their own site?. It's not like anyone forced you to read the thread Greg. In fact, it's a more considerate form of advertising than the ads on the the site .....

709143 2008-10-07 00:36:00 nah its not, Manners would dictate they don't infect the forum with their advertising, But hey, I suppose when you have already saturated every other available space it might as well go in with the content.

I look forward to at least 10 promotional threads stickied to the top.

An ex-mod who thinks the ad load here sucks - yes .

An ex-mod who thinks it's a fair call to label a promotional thread from the site owner, posted in their own site, spam? No . Come on, I frequent many forums where the site owners post promos/comps and no one ever tells them off for spamming .

Now the real ads, that's a different story . . . .
