708341 2008-09-28 18:48:00 Apparantly this guy got my email off my website. If it's a bot, it's a damn clever one - my email address on my site is bot protected, although it was sent from Windows Live Mail - there's an ad tacked onto the bottom.

Hello,
Considering your web development skills we would like to invite you to the release of the website [site]
And in doing so we wish to get your feedback and sincere opinion on it, so please take your time to reply to this email, we will appreciate it a lot!

By the way, I got your email from your site, I hope you don't mind, and I wanted to say that I found your site really good, enjoyed finding it, as I was searching for skillfull web developers, graphic designers, programmers, musicians and other people from whom I could learn and improve the website.

So please consider visiting [site] and reviewing it!

Best regards,
[company]
[site]

I didn't even design my website.

Should I reply (rudely :p), or not, that is the question. :D

708342 2008-09-28 19:01:00 Personally I'd ignore it - what is very common is scams use free email accounts like Yahoo, Hotmail / Windows live mail.

Most legit companies I know use an email address thats traceable if a person looks.

Look at any of the Scam emails - all usually are ???? @ livemail.com

708343 2008-09-28 19:14:00 Sounds like some creative spam. somebody (208)
708344 2008-09-28 19:31:00 Sounds like spam to me also and I would ignore it if it's from a Hotmail or similar email account. If the email was from the domain of the website in question I'd check it out briefly but would consider it spam too. sal (67)
