| 827500 | 2009-11-05 22:24:00 | Have used it for several years, and it's brilliant - one of the absolute essential apps in your toolbox. There are other tools that do similar things, but not as concisely as Autoruns. Had a laptop I fixed the other night that had 23 apps set to run on startup. I disabled 21 of them!! Actually, pretty much everything Sysinternals do is fantastic - their process explorer tool is really nice as well. |

| 827506 | 2009-11-06 07:16:00 | +1 Even though I'm very much at beginner level when it comes to PC troubleshooting, I really enjoyed watching the "Case of the Unexplained" videos by Mark Russinovich (technet.microsoft.com). I find it's best to download the videos first. My bandwidth is not enough for the streaming version! cheers W |
