826953 2009-11-03 23:06:00 Hi all,

My comp seems slower than normal. I went away for 3months earlier in the year and I can't imagine my GF did much in the way of housekeeping... was tempted to do a reinstall but really can't be bothered.

Could someone check this out for me, please?

826955 2009-11-03 23:19:00 Looks pretty clean, but you've got a lot of services that are missing files etc; try running the registry cleaners in both CCleaner and Glary utilities. nofam (9009)
826956 2009-11-03 23:23:00 Nope thats probably because HJT doesnt know what Vista is. The files are there. Thats why it says files are missing Speedy Gonzales (78)
826957 2009-11-03 23:24:00 Asus P5K-E Wifi, Q6600 @ 3.0GHz, 4GB RAM, 9800GTX Factory OC'd. Plenty of HDD space left on both drives. Running Vista Home Premium x64.

I had a bluescreen a while ago and have taken the CPU from 3.4Ghz back to a more stable speed. RAM is rated at 1066 but I've got it at 800 now for the same reason. Wondering if the OS is just getting 'dirty'? Was thinking of W7 but not sure it's worth the $150 or so for the performance gain.

:o

That's usually why I leave HJT logs to you Speedy.

:o

Still may not hurt to run either of those if he's not already.
