| 710157 | 2008-10-06 21:20:00 | Guys I’m looking for a Digicam that meets the following specifications. Resolution: 6.6 mega pixels of greater. Must have old fashioned view finder. (for sunny days) Would like shake stabilisation. Must have flash. Would like Cable Release for shutter. Must have macro facilities without a gap between ranges. (My present camera will only focus between 230mm & 270mm on macro and then goes 1.2m to infinity which leaves a gap between 270mm & 1.2m. that’s less than ideal) Would prefer it ran on AA Rechargeable Batteries. Needs to fit in pocket. I’ve hunted the Internet but can’t find anything the meets all the specification. Would appreciate any comments and guidance. :thanks |

| 710158 | 2008-10-06 22:01:00 | It's hard to meet all the requirements. The Canon S5 IS is good, speaking from experience, but: No cable release, won't fit in your pocket, has a viewfinder, but it is electronic, if that is a disadvantage? All your other needs are met. |

It looks a real nice camera rumpty but is unfortunately too big . The electronic viewfinder is fine as long as I can see what I'm photographing on a sunny day . :) Close, but no cigar . :) |
