Not entirely due to poor teaching, but it can sometimes be a contributing factor . Unfortunately, poor teaching is not just something that happened in the past . Listening to some horror stories from the current generation of young parents, it is still very much a worry . Pay the good ones their worth and you can reach your own conclusions about those not up to standard . This should apply to every occupation . |

Ive just recently spent 4 years of study to be trained as a teacher and still am studying to complete teacher reg, and you think i may need to change jobs? LOL I absoloutly love my job i work with mainstrem children and special needs children and it is very rewarding...... the biggest problem i have is i am the lone adult and wage earner in my house trying to raise two children and not worl full time and miss out on their lives completely. its not all about money, but being comfortable in what you do and how you live helps. i am in no hurry to change my job...... but thank you for the idea....... :) and the tax cuts to me arnt a big deal, but it would be nice to earn slightly more and not have to budget quite so tigthly. beetle :) You made your choice then, as did I when I was on one income with three kids for over ten years. It's tough going, but I didn't ask for other people to pay more tax to support me. I'm not knocking teaching as my wife does the same job as you, but the reality is it isn't a well paid profession and you basically do it for the love not the money (although like everything you'll get paid more as you get more experience) However, you see far too many people today lamenting that they can't go on regular overseas trips, go out for dinner every night and live in the flash suburbs, and they want to tax me more to pay for their lifestyle. |
