| 710190 | 2008-10-07 07:14:00 | I have forbidden my 15 yr old daughter to go with any boyfriend who has Jap car with any of the following; low profile tyres loud exhaust boost gauge racing tach racing front seats momo steering wheel car lowered underbody neons An amp connected to ther stereo non standard shock absorbers pedal covers RIP sticker for dead mate any blue silicon hoses on engine Any fake aeroquip hose tails on engine/trans hoses Turbo dump valve extra driving lights non standard schroder valve caps Racing seat belts and seat belt pads If car has any of those she aint going out in it Most high end cars are quite low & have low profile tyres standard (not that anyone that young would have a high end Australian car) & driving lights are great for open road night driving. Apart from that, I agree with you. My flatmate's brother hit a cow in his BMW & walked away with no significant injuries. He has been told that if he was driving a Jap car, he wouldn't have survived the crash. |

Wow - who was so knowledgeable about cars that they could make such a sweeping statement about all Japanese car manufacurers and models I wonder...? I dare say that if it was surviveable in one car - it was surviveable in any car. |

I dare say that if it was survivable in one car - it was survivable in any car. LMAO.....Well, it obviously wasn't you, with a sweeping statement about it being survivable in any car, cause that is just nonsense. German car manufacturers use thicker steel for a start, have been making cars for longer and the cars last longer. Everybody knows how fast Jap cars rust!! |

| 710199 | 2008-10-08 09:32:00 | why is holden behind on the poll? bathurst has far more holden history and to me is just a holden event (dont actually quote me on the holden history part but from what i know, a reasonable amount, most of the greater moments were holden) id love to see toranas and mustangs out there personally, new v8s are boring, to much money not enough commitment to winning |
