828088 2009-11-08 00:25:00 Well having 2 firewalls wont help. Uninstall Mcafee or Symantec. Or both. They're probably conflicting with each other

Then tick these then fix checked

Close browsers

828092 2009-11-08 01:01:00 should i turn all the stuff in msconfig back on? also it doesn't have uninstall Norton firewall in ms uninstall infact there is no norton products i can see on this laptop
and is the second download given by whellington safe cos i keep getting alert messages

828093 2009-11-08 01:11:00 No leave whatever in startup there. Once you tick the entries in hijackthis they'll go. You've got something by Symantec or Norton. Use the removal tool (service1.symantec.com). Dont worry about combofix, just uninstall those programs enable all the services in msconfig, then reboot Speedy Gonzales (78)
