710673 2008-10-08 04:57:00 Hi, I am looking at buying a new Vodafone n99i for around NZ$200.

Here is the phone here:

http://n99ireview.blogspot.com/

It seems like a cool new phone with heaps of useful features, but was wondering a few things as I am new to the Vodafone network and yea...
First off was wondering what SIM Card I will need to purchase.
2. Am I able to take the phone into the local Vodafone Store because I am unsure that it is legal? probably is but I dunno.
3. Is this a good phone or is there something better that you recommend.

Thanks, any help welcome.

Legality - are we talking about the phone?

Cheers :)

Yea, wasn't sure if it was Vodafone legal, like if I was to take it in and upgrade the memory stick they wouldn't turn me away because of it.

710676 2008-10-08 06:57:00 Don't take it in to Vodafone to purchase a bigger memory stick. Use flashcards.co.nz like all the smart people do. :D pine-o-cleen (2955)
710677 2008-10-08 07:29:00 There are 2 vodafone sim cards prepay and account thats all and you don't need to take the phone in with you to buy one gary67 (56)
710678 2008-10-08 08:21:00 You can use any most any GSM phone with Vodafone. And it doesn't matter who you buy it from.Unless........it is one that has been locked to some non-NZ phone company. If you buy it in NZ though (from Parallel imported etc) it will be sweet. As for sim cards, you can just buy one at a dairy or post shop for about $30 or so. You don't need to bother with going to a Vodafone store. joemac (9739)
