I reckon the E8500 is best for gaming atm but the q6600 is better for video editing and converting but unless ur gonna have 4 games running at the same time theres a point to go with the e8500 right? cause its faster on a single core and can overclock to 4.4Ghz with an FSB of 1333MHz or Higher!!! |

If it was mine I'd get the Q6600.
Right now the 8500 will probably offer better performance, but in the near future, quad core will have the advantage. Esp if you wanna overclock it. |

Really considering the price difference and that the q6600 can be overclocked to 3.4GHz i think stable with no water cooling needed.....:eek: |
