| 714100 | 2008-10-23 04:58:00 | Reminds me of a bus trip I took once... BEWARE...MORE THEN 20 WORDS LIKELY HERE! I was in the Navy going from Seattle to LA and then to Costa Mesa to see my wife on a 72-hour out-of-bounds special liberty on what was sold to me as a non-tourist, express bus ride. It was supposed to go directly to LA with stops for just food, fuel and new passengers. After the first 10 hours or so, I had had a few "rest stops" that allowed me to purchase a few hot dogs (quick) and a can or two of soda at what seemed like every cow path, chicken crossing and friends-of-the-driver's fast food emporiums. Oh...and "personal needs" were taken care of too. Anyway...as I was asleep and very groggy from endless jostling and bumps and fitful sweaty attempts to sleep, I heard "Rest stop" on the PA by the driver. I wobbled down the steps and into the men's restroom (at least I didn't make THAT mistake!) and was standing there...er...."tapping a kidney" as we say in polite corners here in the US...and admiring whether I needed to shave or not in the mirror over the ...er...urinal. Ah! How nice of this restroom to have mirrors over the urinals in their restrooms!"....but...doh!?! A "mirror"? Over the urinal? Standing behind and slightly to my right side was this guy standing there.... razor in his hand, lathered face.....and me ...er...urinating in his shaving sink. |
