713327 2008-10-20 05:24:00 Nah .. it's off the paint work .. it's like patches ... or sunburnt something like that .. its all over the roof. Some other cars even have it when it sorta peels off. Nomad (952)

Poor repair job, I was told.

My fathers car has it. They said that someone had painted on top of clear coat, which then started to peel.

Actually, my dads car is pretty much only that, it's over the whole car. I don't want to know what sort of accident it was in to need the whole car repainted.

713330 2008-10-20 05:57:00 I know back in the mid to late 80's Toyota's of that era were terrible for it. Bad paint. It might be worth taking the car to a groomer or panel beater to see if it can be buffed out. plod (107)

713332 2008-10-20 07:08:00 My girlfriend's car which used to belong to my daughter has this problem on it's roof, as far as I know it has never been painted/repaired, I have also seen a Peugeot owned by my friend with this problem on it's bonnet. zqwerty (97)
