| 713146 | 2008-10-19 01:40:00 | OK . . . a bad joke . . . but there's something going on that makes me angry . I drive a lot to the local mountains and out to the desert looking for rain squalls . What I see is a lot of dogs . . . pretty dogs . . . with well-manicured nails and good lines eating garbage and road kill . :annoyed: Now . . . I know that they aren't run-aways . . . but I bet they are "dump-offs" by people who cannot feed them or care for them any more . We are getting reports that children are being dropped off in the "secure" sites of hospitals, fire stations and police buildings where it is legal to do so, no questions asked . There was a recent case where a 17-year old boy was dropped at a police department . . . and they said that a 17-year old is kinda pushing the edge a little . Got any of that in NZ? I bet the US has this all cornered . . right? :illogical |

But that's ok, coz then the nanny-state will tell us how much water per minute we're allowed to have come out of our showers. So at least the priorities are right up there. |

True story from when I was growing up in England in a town near my home there was a building shared by 2 businesses, nothing wrong in that I hear you say. Well the 2 businesses were a Chinese takeaway and a vets. I got to know the vet when I was older I did swim training with his kids and never could get him to admit or deny having a hatch in the joining wall but we always speculated on it. :banana |
