712885 2008-10-17 23:27:00 What about Amazon UK would they work out cheaper?

Like with the exchange rate now? No way. I bought a DVD from Amazon UK and it cost a fortune with 3x exchange rate and humungass shipping. Found it here at the local DVD shop for about 30% less 12 months later.

I have found over the past 6 months that the shipping from Amazon US has been climbing . You would thing with the amount of shipping that Amazon does that they would work out a chaeper way of doing things..
With the NZ Peso down to 61c US I won't be buying much for the forseable future..

For those into fishing, I can definitely recommend basspro.com, even with the shipping, quality reels etc are one hell of a lot cheaper than one buy the same in NZ.

712888 2008-10-18 07:02:00 The packing and postage price seems cumulative,

I went through the full ordering process for two 22.5 volt batteries, each the same size as a 9volt 216 battery for mini-transistor radios. Batteries were $US9.90 each, shipping (USPS) $US78.

I didn't buy them.

Cheers
