Honestly you have got more chance of your house being hit by a piece of falling space junk, then winning powerball 1st div. It is a bit of a con. Even many people who do win, end up losing it all, as they are not used to having that much money, and make bad choices. I know someone who won a couple of million 10 years ago, and they have only got a couple of hundred thousand left.	robbyp (2751)

No they weren't a friend, just a neighbour. I did do some work for them, and they paid well, and they were nice people before the win. However the win caused them a lot of problems, as the wife became an alcholic, they invested in a couple of failed businesses, their marriage broke up, and the husband died in the end. The wife is living in close by in a small flat, not a million dollar house. I believe they did give quite a lot of it away too, such as to the local zoo, and I believe that other people ripped them off. That is another probelm with winning that sort of money,some people will try to scam you. That is why it is best not to tell anyone if you win. I think the best way to make money is to earn it, it gives far more satisfaction that way, and you learn more how to manage it. Of course I wouldn't refuse it if I won it too.	robbyp (2751)
