830127 2009-11-14 06:48:00 My networking layout goes like this... Internet to Modem, modem to router, router to clients. When I have it set up like this I can log into my Linksys WRT610N router at 192.168.1.1, but I can't access the D-Link 502T modem at it's address 10.1.1.1.

I have to plug directly into my modem to see it. Could there be a problem with the default IP's these devices have which means when I try to access the modem the router won't let me through? The only reason I have the modem is my router doesn't support PPP0A, only PPPoE even with the latest firmware.

Anyways...I get confused by the IP/Subnet mask layout rules. Is there a website that offers good graphical illustrations of how to configure my network properly/efficiently?
