| 829846 | 2009-11-13 20:53:00 | After added the new 1 TB WD HDD (SATA) and a Asus SATA DVD writer, my computer gives 2 additional 'beeps' at startup. These beeps sound (lower pitch) is different from the usual boot up beeps. It gives one beep (other than the first boot HDD) for every SATA device it detects at startup. Windows 7 starts up fine though. Is it possible to disable this detection beeps? Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS4P. |
