2008-10-29 20:21:00 | Little quiz which shows which parties are compatible with your choices: pundit.co.nz Results were not too much of a surprise for me............

2008-10-30 00:18:00 | Hmm. No real surprises for me with the quiz result!! Although I think another valid option for choosing who to vote for is the old "blindfold and a pin" method. Provided the blindfold is on the politician, and the voter gets to use the pin on the softer parts of the politician... :)

2008-10-30 00:29:00 | What is wrong with pinning in/on their hard bits? There's a few ears that need a bit of rearward restraint. Mouths would warrant a zip. Brains would need a micro-detector.

2008-10-30 00:31:00 | Just thought that "soft bits + pins" might hurt a bit more than "hard bits + pins".... :D | johcar (6283) | |

2008-10-30 01:52:00 | Just thought that "soft bits + pins" might hurt a bit more than "hard bits + pins".... :D Quite possibly, but if the pins are blunt enough the sound of hammering adds to the politicians misery. Every little helps. ;)

2008-10-30 01:53:00 | Only while narrow minded people think along these lines List I have here:- Family Party, Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party, Democrats for Social Credit, Kiwi Party, New Zealand Pacific Party, Residents Action Movement, Libertarianz, Bill and Ben Party, The Republic of New Zealand Party, Workers Party. All of those don't have a hope of hell of getting a seat in Govt so IMHO are wasted votes. The next level up that might or probably will get seat(s):- United Future, New Zealand First, Maori, Progressive, Green, Alliance and Act. They are enough to throw the balance one way or the other but none have a lot of say in the general scheme of things so I also consider this bunch a wasted vote also. We really need three major parties as opposed to two, it might be slightly better than a dozen small ones that make very little difference. FPP is better than MMP IMHO I can't really see Bill or Ben ever becoming the NZ PM.
