| 715557 | 2008-10-28 21:42:00 | For the past 6 months or so I have had something go missing from outside my front door . It happens when I am out or asleep and I assumed it was a neighbour . Last week the shop owner across the road caught them in the act . It was a man on a push bike . The dairy guy didnt recognize him and he rode off . This is embarrassing because hes stealing from my ashtray outside . Yes I am a disgusting horrible smoker . I dont need what he is stealing, but . He knows when Im out, when Im asleep, he walks through my yard, around my fence, past my bedroom window, through my gate, up to my porch, past my front door and back again . My porch is concealed from the road by my fence . I think the police would just laugh at me . I could just move the ashtray but, what if he starts stealing other things or if it escalates into him breaking into the house? I was woken for unknown reasons last night at about 4am and did as us horribly addicted smokers do, I went outside for a cigarette . I noticed he had been there again . So he would have had to of come between 12pm and 4am last night . Im starting to get paranoid . |

| 715560 | 2008-10-28 21:52:00 | Ring the police and get them around for a chat . No one has any business doing that sort of thing and you never know, it may escalate into something far more sinister . Get the cops to deal with it, at the very least so that they have something in their records . |

| 715561 | 2008-10-28 21:54:00 | Set up some sort of deterrent. Like tweak'e said, the ol' 12 gauge always works, but failing that, maybe some sort of note (don't laugh) to him explaining that you know about him, and if it continues, you'll go to the police, and if he keeps on, then the 2x4! Edit: Good to see you back Foxy! |

| 715564 | 2008-10-28 22:24:00 | Pee into a milk bottle, add dry milk powder with more water. Mix well and take it outside. Try to make it look like the milkman was there. If it goes in the morning. Celebrate. Replace pee with round-up if desired. |
