| 714250 | 2008-10-24 04:57:00 | I purchased an electric RC foam model plane which I flew twice and the RC gear packed up (but thats another story). Anyway after new rc gear we are in the air again but it only has a slow charger. I need some mini Tamiya plugs to make my own fast charger. DSE don't sell them, Jaycar don't. I did find a place in Britain that does but hopefully I could find a place a wee bit closer. |

| 714258 | 2008-10-27 04:06:00 | All hobby stores in NZ are supplied by Briggans, who not only are the agent for Tamiya in NZ but just about every other brand of everything in most Hobby stores, Hence every hobby store in NZ sells Tamiya plugs, hence you won't find them in electrical supply stores. Hence, Every Hobby store on the planet stocks Tamiya, Hence every Hobby store in NZ has Tamiya plugs. Granted Lower Hutt is the suck hole for hobby shops, But J & N in Upper Hutt will definitely have a few sets in stock. As it happens its common paractice to melt the plugs and for people to assemble their own cell packs so replacements are easy to get.. Hence hence hence, Instead of telling me how much you doubt the advice, or wasting time telling me I'm a pratt, Just go to your local hobby store and buy some. |
