| 830837 | 2009-11-16 21:55:00 | Can sometime tell me where "NOTEPAD" lives in windows 7? I am trying to edit a config file and I want to open it in notepad. However config opens in another program. When I try to change it I have to enter the address to notepad. And I can't find it.:mad: If I open notepad it does not have it's address showing. Help please. Jack |

| 830838 | 2009-11-16 22:04:00 | In Vista & Win7, just type Notepad. It will appear in the options. Right click>Properties>Link is there. In this case, it may look a lil funny with % and stuff, but in essence, like any Operating System program, it'll be in System32. C:\Windows\System32\notepad.exe Easy peasy! |

Errrrr --No, its in system32 look at the target path (www.imagef1.net.nz) Edited: BUT just to save any confusion It's actually in both locations, Windows & System32 folders - I just looked. |

Same place as always - Accessories. The actual file location is also the same - syste32 folder. You just have .txt files set to open by default with something else. |
