| 714375 | 2008-10-28 07:49:00 | The Enron affair completely puzzles me,billionaires wanting more, but that is man,it seems.! The Enron affair was very much a failure of the regulators - ie: government. The regulators allowed Enron to write up what they expected to make as being what they actually made - and thereby deceive the market. |

Note I said billionaires wanting more,it was the human factor to which I was referring, not some regulatory body..Try to concentrate lad. |

I'm not commentating your contribution to the thread. Concentrate? I'd say your posts are about 10 parts web links and cut'n'paste from somebody's blog - and about 1 part Cicero's own thought patterns so far. So not very concentrated at all really. |

I'm not into socialism but capitalism isn't looking that great with all the failures around the world at the moment. The latest Investigate magazine is interesting in regards to the number of commies tied up within the Green party. The book "Spies and Revolutionaries" A history of NZ subversion by Graeme Hunt is worth reading as well. |

Thanks to 9 years of Comrade Helen, welfare dependency in New Zealand has grown whilst the productive sector of the community has shrunk or at best remained static, not to mention the exponential growth of taxes under many guises, the bureaucracy and Government spending. Well said! |
