Anything apple carries a premium, for example their flat panels are about 50% more expensive than an equivalent/superior item with more features (23" cinema display: ~$1578; 24" HP 2475: ~$990). The premium is for the design and materials (brushed aluminium vs plastic), so I guess it -could- be considered fair price if looks are important. There are also many threads here about apple ram vs standard ram. |

But it looks to me like if you get Windows 7 you are just paying for some pretty icons and a tamer system tray. They will have an even harder job getting business to upgrade their networks just for that, than they are having from XP to Vista ! |
