Windows 98 looked ugly and didn't perform so well. ANYway - I actually quite like the new taskbar. It's one step towards removing useless junk. |

Macs can equal if not better that too you know. MAC * One 2.8GHZ Quad-Core Intel Xeon * Two 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon * Two 3.0GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro systems support up to 32GB of 800MHz DDR2 * 2GB (2x1GB) * 4GB (4x1GB) * 8GB (4x2GB) * 16GB (4x4GB) * 16GB (8x2GB) * 32GB (8x4GB) * 320GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s * 500GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s * 750GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s * 300GB 15,000-rpm SAS * 1TB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s * ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB * 2 x ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB * 3 x ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB * 4 x ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB * NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB * NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 1.5GB * Apple Cinema Display (20" flat panel) * Apple Cinema HD Display (23" flat panel) * Apple Cinema HD Display (30" flat panel) Can't say I've seen too many PC boards supporting 32Gb RAM yet. 32gb of RAM is overkill unless you're going to use it as a server. I must admit though, macs are fast:p |

I like eye candy. I prefer Vista over XP for its pretty looks and the stylish Mahjong game. Call me shallow. :p |

If you disable anything M$ featured in vista that wasn't in XP, its all good:banana my fav game would have to be chess titans though... |

| 715644 | 2008-10-29 18:23:00 | There is money in OS's - without an OS, there's no computer. Even with the web, we still need something to connect to it. :) | pcuser42 (130) | ||
| 715645 | 2008-10-29 18:48:00 | MS have announced that Win 7 will not be as annoying as Vista. Hell, you could say the same for a ferret in the trousers. |
