They are very robust and have an excellent full bodied vocal reproduction with very high tolerance for feedback You'd pick a second hand one up thru TM for about 50 or 60 bucks Definately wouldn't be disappointed with one, as you can be with a lot of others which are "weak" and "thin" vocal reproduction, and some very prone to feedback. |

| 715430 | 2008-10-31 00:38:00 | I went into a music store during my lunchbreak. They showed me two devices that record directly to an SD card (Only a 512MB supplied :( ) I might get one of them. One was $450, the other was about $600. With one having two little compression mics, and the cheaper one just having one (I think it was a dynamic mic). Not sure which one I want. Has anyone ever used a Zoom H2 (www.zoom.co.jp) or H4 (www.zoom.co.jp)? |

They have a couple of guys selling stuff in the classifieds too you might be interested in. | rob_on_guitar (4196) | ||
| 715432 | 2008-10-31 01:07:00 | This thing is good because the unit records as well. It also means that I can rock on up to a singing lesson or concert, and just record on the spot without having to screw around with a laptop. I think this is what I need really. Will do the job, even if I'm not going to be doing studio quality recording. I travel with singing quite a lot, and this will save me from dragging a laptop around, which is nice. It has two XML plugs in the bottom, so if I decide that I want to get a good mic at a later stage, I can always add it in. |
