The 100K would have been better off giving them an education. If that is the best we have then I hope it is the last series. |

| 715717 | 2008-10-29 22:01:00 | You occasionally get some legitimately decent acts on it, but nothing worthy of $100,000. I just don't understand the judges. They say yes to everything and encourage people when they have obviously bombed. The only worth while group i have seen so far is the blind band, i thought that was clever and reasonably brave. The group of kids doing street dance was stupid. The 2 girls who were doing some kind of circus routine on ropes was lame. The 3 deranged 40 year old guys cross dressing was just disgusting, but still got a Yes from the judges. On the odd occasion that i do happen to watch it when flicking through the channels is usually when end up with a bruised forehead from the constant turbo face-palming by the end whilst screaming "wtf was that, and why are the judges smiling with enthusiasm?". Have you no shame, NZ? |

| 715719 | 2008-10-29 22:29:00 | Miriama Smith - Judge? Wrong choice for a judge, I guess it was because no one else with any credibility wanted to do it. With such a wide range of acts it would be hard to isolate what is talent and what is not, some of the acts belonged in the Circus and not on the stage. After seeing the American version I am not even sure why I watched this one. The woman that Paul picked to come back on the final night was better than any of the eight finalists. I am sure that Gaylene was wondering how the hell she got to a final place when this woman was singing. The lovely Gaylene with her missing teeth and sounded like she missed out on her School Days. |

How can that dancing clown be better that the tap dancers?? Just shows what happens when you charge 99c / vote. I too saw the US one and the end result was good . Maybe because the voting was free.. |
