| 714593 | 2008-10-25 02:40:00 | Trying to install this old game on a Pentium 4 - 3.4GHz, 2Gb Ram, DX 9, 128Mb Graphics. All the Specs for the game are met with room to spare. When the CD goes in the only option is EXIT, all the play, install etc are greyed out. It will install on my Thinkpad R51 and also my Quad Core PC, but not the P4. There is one exe on the CD called IP.EXE which I ran and it does not see the CPU as a 80586. www.imagef1.net.nz Minimum requirement is a Pentium II, 32Mb Ram, DX 6.1, 4Mb Graphics. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make it install? |

When XP was installed it had a P4 3.02GHz CPU, I have since changed that to a 3.2GHz then a 3.4GHz, but can't see that would stop it seeing the correct CPU. |

Perhaps a repair install of XP may sort that. |

| 714600 | 2008-10-28 22:42:00 | maybe a pc upgrade to a modern machine would fix it. Repair did nothing and it does not install so the graphics is not yet an issue. Maybe an XP reinstall but that seems like a lot of bother for an old game. I see one other game of Bullfrog had the same issue but I never came across a suitable response that people said fixed it. |
