831258 2009-11-18 04:34:00 W7 Pro x86 keeps restarting every time I try to boot in.
No BSOD, I get the mouse pointer and bang, reboot.

Tried Last good config, tried safe mode (I disabled auto restart) tried every god damn thing I could think of including ripping out cards, unplugging hard drives, playing with BIOS setting (PnP, disabling everything non essential).

This is following the installation of SB Audigy drivers.

So what can I do now?

Is there any way to get rid of all system drivers by deleting certain files?

Or is a reinstall my best option (really don't want to do this) ?

I am sick of MS's bullshit but I have no other options at this stage.

831262 2009-11-18 04:59:00 Is it one of these ? (www.microsoft.com). If it is, none of them are compatible with Win 7 Speedy Gonzales (78)
831263 2009-11-18 05:01:00 Can't exactly run System Restore if I can't start windows can I? Cato (6936)

Yeah. Looks like it.

Ripped the card out anyway, how do I get rid of the drivers without windows?

831265 2009-11-18 05:13:00 Probably a repair install Speedy Gonzales (78)
831266 2009-11-18 05:22:00 Ah nuts.

Damn W7 DVD does not detect the windows installation and won't repair anything.

831267 2009-11-18 05:30:00 Did you use the win7 drivers or did you install drivers from somewhere else? For the SB? Speedy Gonzales (78)
