They had the 4-Cross up and now it's the Womens' Downhill. Pretty place. Funny — I can actually understand what they are saying, and I know how to say "Rotorua" now too. I think we call 4-Cross: BMX here. |

| 717728 | 2008-11-05 21:03:00 | Boy — must be a slow news day here in the US: the elections are over, the homosexuals are getting shut down in a California Constitutional Amendment AGAINST "Gay Marriage" and I guess they are running travelogue from NZ to fill dead air on TV. Napier Taihape Road, New Zealand and the local areas with vehicles going through the snow on the mountain trails. C-o-o-o-o-o-l! |

It is supposed to be close to the end of Spring here SJ . Snow is not really expected at this time of year, although we have had Snow on Christmas Day in places a couple of times which is rare . South of the South Island is getting a lot of snow right now . |

We are having snow in the more Northern climes right now, Utah and of course Montana where my step-daughter and son live, respectively. We had the ski season openers in Central California (Mammoth) open about two-weeks early this year, but it has happened before. |
