| 717717 | 2008-11-05 18:56:00 | I'm about to buy an ipod touch, and I wanted to know which of its features don't work in NZ? And if I wanted to make use of mobile internet on the ipod touch, what options are there for that in Palmerston North? | Lizard (2409) | ||

I know wi-fi networks exist at lots of cafe's, etc, but are there nationwide or even city-wide wifi networks that you can subscribe to to make use of the internet on an ipod touch? | Lizard (2409) | ||
| 717721 | 2008-11-05 21:22:00 | Wi-fi on my Touch works fine. Once connected via my home Wi-Fi Web browser, Email, Weather, Maps, YouTube, Stocks all work just fine. Apple Store works when done through iTunes and Wi-Fi. Web Pages are small in Safari especially with my old worn out eyes. It will connect to any Public Wi-Fi that a Laptop etc can connect to. It has options to enter Wi-Fi passwords is needed. |
