| 717683 | 2008-11-05 18:02:00 | I had a pay-as-you-go cellphone a few years ago . (Trac-Fon) I got tired of it and let it lapse into non-use by not buying more air time . Yesterday my wife got a call on HER cellphone, ID-ing as MY cellphone was calling her . This is just strange: She answered it and a woman was speaking Japanese to her and didn't seem to know Engrish at all . I'm not worried about the Japanese woman calling, but how in the world can a person who is NOT me, using a phone now that somehow has my old number — call my wife's cellphone and it gets ID'd as ME? How did the Japanese lady get my wife's number? :confused: I can understand that my old number got returned to the number pool and got re-assigned, but the coincidence of calling my wife is just too hard to understand . |
