| 717671 | 2008-11-05 08:32:00 | We hear reports in the news about people like Robert Mugabe pressuring citizens to vote for his party, but you would never imagine it would happen here. It looks like Labour has decided that Zimbabwe's model of democracy is perfectly acceptable here in New Zealand - something I find absolutely appalling, particularly as it's targeting the elderly. www.nzherald.co.nz |

Ordinary people with average educations are easily bamboozled by politicians, that is their job. |

| 717677 | 2008-11-05 22:16:00 | Yes, left to their own devices.... Ah, so this is how the nanny state works? helengrad & co not only tell you how to live your lives but also how to vote!!! This is a bit bloody rich. If you want to live in a communist society then please feel free to vote with your feet....I can't believe anyone in the right mind would defend such a tactic. Take your vote to a communist country mate and see how far that gets you! I have come to the conclusion labour & their supporters have absolutely nothing positive to say after 9 years of mis-management such that the only thing they can do is attack the opposition. It's pathetic. I didn't think it was possible but helengrad & co have plumbed new depths. It displays a new low level of desperation with zero credibility, trust and imagination. |

| 717678 | 2008-11-05 22:44:00 | Speaking of zero credibility, very little mention of this claimed event has occurred in the mainstream media. They are probably waiting for Harry Lu to actually take it to the Electoral Commission. | PaulD (232) | ||
