| 717107 | 2008-11-03 23:15:00 | :help: MYTH OR REALITY? MYTH: Mum, wife or grandma says “It’s a good day for washing” [clothes, linen etc]. We go "yay!" (yeah right) REALITY: You either live with or visit frequently above mentioned females. They require you to comply with their judgment that today, whatever day of the week it is, is a good day for washing and hanging out clothes etc. CONCLUSION: Good days and bad days come and go. But there is a particular sense within the minds of women who determine what becomes a “good” or “bad” day for washing clothes; normally every day. Guys have no say in the matter, whatever the weather, neither those who want to bbq outside for lunch or go fishing. SHE has the say! :( Thank goodness for brothers!!!! *sigh* |

A kindred spriit, no less. Thank you, Speedy. I feel so much better now. I do the clothes washing, folding and the occasional ironing as well. That is the reason for the term, "SWMBO." I've had years of marital combat experience. It has taught me that even if you are 100%, unequivocally, absolutely and definitely correct - you are wrong. Us husbands are a sorry lot. |
