716793 2008-11-03 03:12:00 Asus and intel have a comp going at the mo where you can submit ideas on what new things you'd like laptops to have. people vote on your ideas. i tried to submit some feedback to intel ages ago but they said they didn't take ideas from the public so its great they are doing it now. i already made a long list of suggestions on new technologies laptops should have and you can take a look at it:

Already got 7 votes in a day :)

716794 2008-11-03 03:25:00 Um, those suggestions are great, but I'm sure we all don't want to spend 15k on a laptop, and would prefer if it didn't weigh 14 KG.

Maybe in 2030.

716795 2008-11-03 06:25:00 Please Intel:

Make me a laptop with a i7 Skulltrail platform. It needs 32GB of RAM, 3 optical drives, and a 4TB multiple redundant RAID. Preferably SSD. It needs a 24" screen, and I want 3x280GTX.

Please develop this for me. I want it to fit into my back pocket. Please develop a system where I can't lose it, because that would make me sad. I also want it to be cheap and light. Also, I don't want it to be expensive.

Also, please develop me a brain. Actually, all users should have two brains, because I've heard that they're better than one.

This is the most stupid **** I've ever read.

While having no taxes, iPhones for all, and 100% unemployment.

716799 2008-11-03 10:32:00 Would you like to upsize that? R2x1 (4628)
716800 2008-11-03 22:14:00 I've submitted a couple of ideas myself.

716801 2008-11-03 22:38:00 Google the term "External Graphics Card". You've been beaten to it.

I like the second idea though. Can't see it happening, but like it.

716802 2008-11-03 22:45:00 The problem with that is that it's bulky, and external, and relies on the ExpressCard slot, which is only a 1x PCI-E bus. My standard is internal, and uses a 32x PCI-E bus, the same as desktops do. ubergeek85 (131)
