717167 2008-11-05 02:29:00 I have often wondered why men and women bother living together.

I've often thought (and there are people who do this) it's better to have your own place each and then just visit each other. For the day, or a weekend or whatever, then each goes back to their own place.

No more fighting over what to watch, who does what etc.

As for the flatting idea, nah, there'd still be fights over who does what etc. Its just eliminated breeding from the equation.

Not necessarily a bad thing with some people...

I totally agree .

I much prefer guys as friends and find the women friends I do have waaaaaaaaay too much work . Very tiring . Although sometimes the lines between male and female mates can be crossed, sadly, but if not you could end up being life long friends .

I don't think its suppose to be perfect though (relationships) got to have a bit of spark to light a fire . There will never be a complete recipe for success when it comes to any type of relationship but it is suppose to be fun in the trying? .

I know this is called "living with women" but I have a few horror stories about living with males (male) that is just as good as any here lol :)

717170 2008-11-05 03:16:00 I wasn't referring to homosexuals though. Nor was I implying that males and females should not "socialise". Just not live together.

OMG...LOL Foxy, I guess you fail at relationships then....The big problem of course is finding the right spouse, get that wrong........however, get it right......

Fail at relationships? :illogical

I have been married for more than half of my lifetime since being wed as a teenager. We have our differences and drive each other up the wall at times but at the end of the day we are best mates. :wub

My previous comments arose from observing other people's relationships, not mine.

717172 2008-11-05 04:51:00 Love it...kinda like Lot's wife but this time in Castile.

Hey..My wife just returned from the food store with a NZ product:

Anchor Brand, Pure New Zealand Butter. Fonterra is the producer's name. Know of it?

I am a subcontractor for Fonterra as it happens. Practically all NZ dairy farmers are shareholders.

717175 2008-11-05 06:10:00 Nothing wrong with living with women.
At one point in my life i had an inner city commune type flat, up to nine people. My best and worst flatmates were of female persuasion. Same with most of my long term friends, i suspect they too are female.

It's just when one gets in a relationship that it turns to something awful. Never ever again.

717176 2008-11-05 06:36:00 Cockys used to make money from farming.
Farmers used to have a big shop in most towns, with free trams (and Hector) in Auckland. The second made money from everybody.
A dairy sold ice cream and similar stuff.
Another dairy sold ice cream and different stuff. ;)
