| 716995 | 2008-11-04 00:46:00 | We already deny voting to those deemed mentally incapable. All that demonhunter is proposing is to 'raise the bar' so to speak. Presumably it's 19 or 21. I'd be interested in your logic though (assuming this wasn't the result of 2 typos) It's prime numbers, should you be voting? :D And yes, 19 would be correct but 21 would definitley not. 23, 29, 31... |

| 716997 | 2008-11-04 01:55:00 | I would say it is, "A number only divisible by one and itself." Don't suppose it matters if 1 is itself. Or just start from 2... |

| 716998 | 2008-11-04 02:20:00 | No, it's not a prime number. Anyway, I think we've all shown that no one in this thread should be allowed to vote. Myself included. Edit: The prime number sequence is actually - 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19, which is why I didn't recognise the given sequence as such. However, I probably should have recognised it as the pseudo-non-maths-person prime number sequence I guess :) |

| 717001 | 2008-11-04 09:28:00 | How about only people who are employed get to vote? after all we are the ones paying taxes and putting in an effort. Students, sickness bennies and single mums be damned. Pensioners get 2 votes. How about those who the above poster considera too stupid to vote get to keep their taxes?, seems fair to me.Don't get a say, don't have to pay. How about I get to decide the questions, I reckon I'm pretty clever, and I could easily brand those that don't think along the same lines as me as stupid, if not retarded. Stupid thread, OP should have his voting rights revoked and replaced with a salami snack. |

And they would be correct - let people quote The first 500 (en.wikipedia.org) - get them right you can vote - guess no one would be voting :waughh: How about only people who are employed get to vote? after all we are the ones paying taxes and putting in an effort. Be careful Metla - too many sensible suggestions like that and you'll have the boys in dark shades and black suits round - heaven forbid anyone actually making a sensible suggestion  |

I must say I rather like the idea of only tax-payers having the right to vote. Stupid thread, OP should have his voting rights revoked and replaced with a salami snack. meh, I was just interested to know what the rest of you guys thought, and suggestions like your one above was the outcome I was looking for. |
