716827 2008-11-03 17:18:00 Did you just watch the debate with John Campbell? JK what a fool but I suspect he will get in mores the pity

How can you call him a fool ?

Why do you call him a fool ?

He is very intelligent, does not rise to personal attacks, is very quick with facts.

And he can probably spell "more's" which is why he wants to bring in education standards so that all children can read and write and do basic maths.

You may disagree with his policies, but he is not a fool. Peter Dunne probably is.

I call him a fool because

1 he thinks his party is better than Labour when it's pretty much the same

2 he thinks we believe him when he says he won't sell assets

3 he thinks we can be blindfolded by tax cuts that actually cost us to have them by taking $30 a week from kiwisaver

4 he is even smarmier than Winston and that's saying a lot, Winnie's pretty bad.

5 He keeps going on about the fresh face of Nats yet his front bench apart from himself is still the Nats old guard from 5 years ago

Just because I make the odd typo doesn't make him more brighter than me though, if he was a snake he would be the deadly kind

More is superfluous, should be, doesn't make him brighter than me.....

And remember once a leftie always a lefttie.

I agree that their policies are increasingly similar, but there are still many differences. Labour is still significantly more left wing than National.

2 he thinks we believe him when he says he won't sell assets

He has quite clearly stated that he won't in his first term. Maybe he will after that, but how is that relevant to this election? That would be an issue to consider next time around if it is an issue for you.

3 he thinks we can be blindfolded by tax cuts that actually cost us to have them by taking $30 a week from kiwisaver

You can always put your tax cut into Kiwisaver or save it. You don't have to spend it just because it is there in front of you.

4 he is even smarmier than Winston and that's saying a lot, Winnie's pretty bad.

I don't know about that. What about him do you find untrustworthy? The fact that Helen Clark has done her best to make people suspicious of him? I trust him a lot more than Helen Clark and Michael Cullen, who both have a proven record of distorting the facts.

5 He keeps going on about the fresh face of Nats yet his front bench apart from himself is still the Nats old guard from 5 years ago

Probably true, although that personally doesn't bother me.

"More brighter" isn't correct grammar. :p

716832 2008-11-03 21:57:00 Now I'm not a National supporter at all but what a load of crap. Its capitalism, plain and simple. You're free to leave you know...

Yes, capitalism is largely a load of crap, and it needs a strong dose of socialism to make it fair for everyone.

Unfortunately, we are not free to leave, but we are free to try to change the system to something fairer.

Hahahahhahahahhahhahaahahahhaha. This is the most ridiculous point I've ever heard made in my life. Did it occur to you that this works both ways?

I also find this surprising, how someone who uses a Mac as their primary PC also has logic . :D ;)

1. Nats don't have an Entourage of low IQ Dykes working alongside their leader.
3. Kiwisaver is a lemon. Every Govt that gets in power will mess with it until it eventually falls apart.
4. JK is definitely not smarmier than Winston. Dear old Winston is as sleazy and dishonest as we have ever had in politics, it will all come back to bite him one day.

"more brighter" Hmm, that's a worry
