832677 2009-11-23 06:28:00 Hi all . . .
My neice has had my Toshiba notebook for a couple of yrs at Varsity, it was on SP 1 when it left and is now on XP 3, seems simple enough, ok . . .
Well wanted to put Avast Anitvirus on it, like my other PC, so downloaded it, everything was fine, but when I click on Setup, then choose "English", it won't go any further and spits out this log which means nothing to me . What am I doing wrong? :badpc: I am administrator, so shouldn't be a problem, ay?

And this error can also appear if something like Nortons is / was on it (forums.techguy.org)
